Staging Madok Developments

Madok Developments, a custom home builder, was launching a new location in downtown Kamloops. Their designer and co-owner, Kara Erickson, needed help staging Madok’s beautiful new showroom and office spaces next to the Sandman Centre. The concept was brilliant — two stories of offices, meeting rooms, and lounges, each with their own completely unique style, showcasing the full breadth of designs Madok offers their clients. Only one problem: the grand opening of the showroom was in just five days!

I had a blast working with Kara. She had a million things to line up for the opening, so she generously allowed me a wide latitude on this project. It was exciting to source diverse decor to harmonize with each space. For one room, we found quaint, modern farmhouse decor; for another, we sourced industrial and vintage pieces; for another, it was decadent, Old-World and classical influences. But tying together the whole building was a sleek, modern design, displaying Madok’s timely sensibility.
